KTMs intervals are designed for worst case race use. Most guys put topends in around 400 hrs on bikes that see typical use, if it's been raced or ridden hard then adjust downward accordingly. AS for bearings, replacing those are pretty rare but I'd imagine around 600 hrs it'll need the crank done.

Not to be confused with the 450 XC ATV that came along the following year, the 2007 KTM XC 450 is equipped with the legendary RFS motor; which in this form is a 449.4cc, liquid cooled, SOHC, 4-stroke paired with a 6-speed transmission.
